Customer Service Background

Hi, what do you need help with?

Here, you can find the information you need.

What is a Crowdfunded Show?

A Crowdfunded Show is a paid viewing mode available for a limited time during a livestream. Once a creator starts a Crowdfunded Show, a funding progress bar appears in the livestream room. You can pay to get a "viewing seat," and once the funding amount reaches the creator's goal, the stream automatically switches from a free livestream to a show.

How is the ticket price calculated?

Viewing seats use dynamic pricing, meaning the price adjusts as more seats are sold:

  • The price starts at its lowest when tickets first go on sale, and increases each time a set number of seats are sold.

  • The price will keep moving closer to the "original price" for that show's viewing seat, but will never exceed it.

  • Once a ticket is purchased, its price is locked in — only the next batch of unsold seats will use the new price.

  • The panel shows both the current price and the next price tier, so you can decide whether to buy now.

Note: if the current price tier sells out, the price briefly enters a "cooldown" period before moving to the next tier. Tickets cannot be purchased during this cooldown; sales resume once it ends.

Three ways to get a ticket

Tap the funding progress bar to see three ways to get a viewing seat:

Entry Ticket Buy one viewing seat at the current displayed price. This is the most basic way to purchase.

Goal Ticket If you want to help the creator reach the goal immediately and start the show right away, choose a Goal Ticket. The system calculates the exact number of diamonds needed to complete the funding goal. As long as you have enough diamonds for that amount, a single purchase will complete the funding goal and get you a viewing seat at the same time.

Sponsor Ticket If you'd like to sponsor any amount to support the creator (not limited to the amount needed to complete the goal), choose a Sponsor Ticket and enter the amount of diamonds you'd like to contribute. This helps move the funding goal forward and also gets you a viewing seat.

For all three options, the number of diamonds required is shown before payment. Diamonds are only deducted after you confirm on the final confirmation screen — nothing is charged before that.

What happens once the goal is reached?

Once the funding goal is reached, the livestream automatically switches from a free livestream to a show, with a clear countdown shown on screen.

The show has a preset duration. Once time is up, it ends automatically and the livestream room automatically switches back to a free livestream.

If the goal isn't reached, will my diamonds be refunded?

Yes. If the funding goal is never reached before the stream ends and the creator chooses to close the stream, all diamonds paid by users who purchased a seat will be fully refunded based on the amount each user actually paid — no request needed.

I watched the show, but I'm not happy with the experience

If you've obtained a seat and watched the show but have concerns about its content, you can find the record in your purchase history and tap "Dispute Content" to request a diamond refund. Select a reason and submit — the request will be processed automatically.

The following limits apply:

  • Requests must be submitted within 1 day of the purchase record being created. Requests made after this window cannot be accepted.

  • There is a reasonable monthly limit on refund requests, and refunds may affect the creator's earnings, so please use this feature responsibly.

FAQ

Q: What's the difference between a Goal Ticket and a Sponsor Ticket? A Goal Ticket's amount is fixed and equals the exact gap needed to reach the goal. A Sponsor Ticket lets you enter any amount you'd like — as long as it meets the threshold, it can also complete the funding goal.

Q: I bought a viewing seat and then left the livestream room. Will I miss the show? No. You'll receive a notification the moment the stream switches to a show, reminding you to come back and watch. This will also appear in your Notification Center. You can turn off this type of notification in your notification settings if you prefer not to receive it.

Q: Can I still support the creator with payments during the show? Yes. Once the goal is reached, the livestream room will still offer a way to sponsor, letting you contribute any amount to support the creator.

Q: What if the creator disconnects or ends the show early? Will I get my diamonds back? Yes. If the show can't be completed due to an issue on the creator's end, the system will automatically refund the diamonds of users who purchased a seat. You can view the related record in your activity log.
