Private Invite lets you invite a streamer to start a 1-on-1 private live while you're watching, for the most exclusive interaction. Whether to start the private live is up to the streamer.
What is a 1-on-1 Private Live
You can send a 1-on-1 invite while watching a streamer's live. If the streamer accepts, the system opens a dedicated room just for you and the streamer, and other viewers will be removed after a 1-minute countdown. This is the most private and exclusive mode.
How to Send a 1-on-1 Invite
Send the invite: In the live room, tap "Private Invite", select 1-on-1 mode, and confirm. When you send it, the system places a hold on 5 minutes' worth of diamonds.
Wait for the streamer's response: After sending, the screen shows "Waiting for streamer's decision" with a 3-minute countdown. The streamer must decide within this time.
Start the private live: Once the streamer accepts, the room automatically switches to 1-on-1 mode and billing begins.
Fees and Billing
The per-minute rate for 1-on-1 is set by the streamer. Please refer to the rate shown in the live room in the app. When you send an invite, the system first places a "hold" on diamonds as a reserve. Whether you're actually charged depends on the streamer's response.
A one-time hold of 5 minutes' worth of diamonds is placed when you send the invite.
Streamer accepts: The held diamonds become your fee for the first 5 minutes. From the 6th minute onward, the next minute is held when about 25 seconds remain in the current minute. This continues every minute until you leave the live room.
Streamer declines or doesn't respond in time: The held diamonds are automatically returned to your account balance and recorded in your log.
1-on-1 supports two-way video and requires camera and microphone permissions. Please make sure you've allowed SWAG to access your device's "Camera and Microphone". If there's no video or sound when connecting, see [How do I allow camera and microphone permissions?].
Tip | Why do the deduction times in my log look slightly off?
The system holds the next minute before the current minute ends. Your device's clock may also differ slightly from our servers, and network latency can add delay. Because of this, the time recorded in your log may sometimes be slightly later than the actual deduction. A difference of up to 20 seconds is normal and does not affect the amount of diamonds deducted.
When the Invite Doesn't Go Through (Declined or Timed Out)
If the streamer taps Decline, or doesn't respond within 3 minutes (timeout):
You'll receive a "1-on-1 invite failed" notice showing the number of diamonds to be returned.
The held diamonds are returned to your account balance and recorded in your log.
A 5-minute cooldown begins, during which you can't send another private invite. Please try again later.
About "returns": A return here means that when the streamer doesn't accept, the unused held diamonds are returned to your account balance. It is not a cash refund or a refund of purchased diamonds. Per our Terms of Service, purchased diamonds are non-refundable.
What Happens If I Don't Have Enough Diamonds?
Insufficient balance when sending an invite: You won't be able to send the invite. Please top up and try again.
Diamonds run out during a private live: Once your diamonds run out, the system automatically removes you from the live room and ends your viewing. You won't get a reminder before this happens, so we recommend checking your balance before watching to avoid being interrupted.
About Your 1-on-1 Invite Rights
Please note: A 1-on-1 invite clears the room so you can have it to yourself, giving you a private room alone with the streamer. The invite itself does not include any requested performance or on-command service. Once in 1-on-1, the live is still billed by mode. Whether any specific performance takes place, and the content of the interaction, is entirely up to the streamer.
If you'd like the streamer to do something specific, please confirm and agree on it with the streamer before sending the invite.
Reports must be submitted within three months of the incident date. Please provide as much supporting evidence as possible, such as chat records and timestamps, to help with our review. The platform will decide whether a report is upheld based on the actual circumstances.
Notes
The specific content and form of interaction in a private live are decided by the streamer.
If the streamer doesn't accept your invite, you won't be charged, and the held diamonds will be returned to your account balance.
In 1-on-1 mode, other users can't watch or join your interaction with the streamer. It stays private throughout.
