Why Am I Receiving Messages from a Host?

If you have previously tapped on or viewed a host’s profile or content, you may receive messages from that host. These are generally broadcast messages sent by the host to fans to share updates or announce an upcoming live stream. They are not one-to-one private messages sent specifically to you.

If you no longer want to receive messages from a particular host, you can use the block feature to stop receiving them.

How Do I Block a Host?

You can block a host through any of the following paths. Choose whichever method is most convenient:

Method 1: From the Chat Window

Chat → Open the private conversation with the host → Tap “⋯” in the upper-right corner → Block

Method 2: From Your Following List

Profile → Manage Profile → Following → Tap the chat button next to the host’s name → Open the private conversation → Tap “⋯” in the upper-right corner → Block

Method 3: From the Host’s Profile

Host’s profile → Tap “⋯” in the upper-right corner → Block

Method 4: From Unlocked Content

Profile → Unlocked Content → Select the host → Tap “⋯” in the upper-right corner → Block

What Happens After I Block a Host?

Blocking is a one-way setting. It only prevents the host from contacting you directly and does not affect your ability to view content or interact:

Not Affected（You Can Still）

Continue viewing content you have already unlocked. You can find it under “Profile → Unlocked Content.”

Continue watching the host’s free and paid live streams.

Continue sending gifts to support the host in a live room.

Restricted（The Host Will No Longer Be Able To）

Send you messages.

Send you follow invitations.

⚠️ Please note: Blocking a host automatically unfollows that host. Unblocking the host will not automatically restore the follow. To follow the host again, you will need to do so manually.

How Do I Unblock a Host?

The steps for unblocking are the same as the steps for blocking. Use any of the paths above, open the “⋯” menu in the upper-right corner, and select the option again to unblock the host.

About Official Messages

Platform event notifications and system messages are sent by SWAG and are not covered by the block feature, so they cannot be disabled using the methods above. To reduce notifications on your mobile device, you can disable SWAG push notification permissions in your device settings.

If a Message Makes You Feel Uncomfortable

If a message involves harassment, fraud, or other content that violates platform rules, please use the report feature in addition to blocking the host. We will review and handle the report in accordance with platform policies.
