What is the Mute Function?
The Mute function is a measure designed to maintain order in the live stream. When a creator enables this feature, the muted user will not be able to send messages or leave comments in the live stream room.
What happens after being muted?
If you are muted in a live stream:
You will be unable to send any text messages, and your access to the chat box will be temporarily disabled.
The duration of the mute varies and is determined by the creator.
You will receive a notification informing you of the reason and duration of the mute. (As shown in the image below)
Muting is usually temporary, but in cases of severe violations, you may be permanently muted.
Why was I muted?
You might be muted for the following reasons:
Posting inappropriate or offensive content.
Continuously spamming or sending repetitive/meaningless messages that affect other users' experience.
Harassing or provoking the creator or other viewers.
How to avoid being muted?
Maintain polite and civilized speech, and respect others in the live stream.
Do not spam or post irrelevant content.
Interact amicably with other viewers and do not stir up conflicts.
What should I do if I was muted by mistake?
If you believe you were muted by mistake, you can try sending a private message to the creator to explain your situation and request to be unmuted.
