I. Scope of Application and Definitions
These guidelines apply to all callouts issued by the company to streamers, including those affiliated with agencies and official streamers.
Callout: An assignment arranged by the company for the streamer to attend at a specified time and location (e.g., live streaming, events, shoots).
Callout Start Time: The call time or start time stated on the call sheet.
Cancellation Time: The time when written notice is sent.
Callout Fee: The remuneration for the assignment specified on the call sheet.
II. Base Amount for Compensation
All compensation and liquidated damages are calculated using the "Callout Fee" for that assignment as the base amount. The call sheet must clearly state the callout fee.
For callouts without a fixed callout fee (e.g., revenue sharing only), the base amount shall be "Hourly Rate × Scheduled Hours".
Expenses actually incurred for transportation, accommodation, etc., will be reimbursed separately based on receipts and are excluded from the base amount.
III. Cancellation Tiers and Company Cancellation
When the company cancels a callout, compensation to the streamer will be paid according to the table below based on how far in advance the cancellation is made. The same table applies when a streamer cancels, but in reverse (see Section IV).
Cancellation Time | Compensation Percentage |
5 days or more before the callout | 0% |
2–4 days before the callout | 40% |
1 day before the callout | 60% |
On the day of the callout | 80% |
Example: Days are calculated based on calendar days.
For example, for a callout on 10/20: Cancellation on or before 10/15 is 0%, 10/16–10/18 is 40%, 10/19 is 60%, and on 10/20 is 80%.
Cancellation after the streamer arrives on-site: 100% compensation, plus reimbursement for transportation costs based on receipts.
Urgent Callouts: Urgent callouts issued on short notice do not have separate rules. Since they are issued urgently, cancellations will naturally fall close to the start time and directly apply to the 60% or 80% tiers.
IV. Streamer Cancellation
When a streamer cancels a callout, they shall pay liquidated damages to the company according to the same tiers in Section III: 0% for 5+ days before, 40% for 2–4 days before, 60% for 1 day before, and 80% on the day of the callout.
Liquidated damages will be deducted from the current month's callout fees or salary.
If the streamer cancels due to force majeure (e.g., government-declared closures, natural disasters) or family bereavement, liquidated damages will be waived upon provision of proof.
V. Agency Substitute Streamers
When a streamer affiliated with an agency cancels, the agency may propose a substitute streamer. Acceptance of the substitute is at the company's discretion.
Accepted Substitute: Treated as if no cancellation occurred; the original streamer does not need to pay liquidated damages.
Rejected Substitute: Treated as a streamer cancellation; the original streamer must pay liquidated damages according to Section IV.
Deadline for Proposal: Substitutes must be proposed at least 1 day before the callout. Substitutes proposed on the day of the callout will not be accepted.
Client-Designated Streamers: If the original streamer was specifically requested by a brand client, client approval must be obtained before substituting.
Substitute Fee: Calculated based on the original callout fee without any rate increase.
Cancellation by Substitute: Treated as a streamer cancellation; the substitute streamer shall pay liquidated damages according to Section IV.
Monthly Limit: If the same agency substitutes more than 2 times in a calendar month, subsequent substitution requests will not be accepted and will be treated directly as streamer cancellations.
VI. Client Cancellation
When a brand client cancels a callout, the company will still compensate the streamer according to Section III ("Company Cancellation"). The streamer does not bear the risk of client cancellation.
The company will then seek indemnification from the client pursuant to the cancellation terms in the client contract.
When signing contracts with clients, the compensation percentage in the cancellation clause should not be lower than Section III of these guidelines to prevent the company from absorbing the difference.
VII. Callout Postponement
Callout postponements are not subject to the compensation mechanism. If the streamer cannot accommodate the rescheduled date, neither party shall compensate the other.
VIII. Tardiness and Absence
Situation | Handling Procedure |
Streamer late within 30 minutes | No deduction; streamer must make up the hours or follow on-site arrangements. |
Streamer late over 30 minutes | Callout fee will be calculated proportionally based on actual attendance time. |
Streamer late over 1 hour, or client cancels due to streamer's tardiness | 50% liquidated damages fee. |
Streamer absent without prior notice | 100% liquidated damages fee, plus a 1-month suspension from callout assignments. |
